Happy 1st to Ty!
I can't believe this sweet little guy is 1 already! I swear time has gone by faster with each of my kids. We had a party for him on Saturday, the 7th, and invited friends over. It was a "Little Man Mustache Bash" and had a good time. Ty ate a little cake after looking at it for a good 5 minutes. I think he hated that the frosting was stuck to his fingers. :) On his birthday, the 10th, I had to work, but the babysitter made him a cute little party hat and we helped him open his gifts from family that night while doing some face time so they could watch him. Ty started walking a few weeks before his birthday and has been getting better at it every day. We love his crazy, curly blond hair, silly snaggletooth grin, and happy personality. We are so lucky to have him in our family!

Never A Dull Moment
I wanted to get a few pictures up for family to see from May. It was a fun month with Eli graduating from preschool and Ty crawling up a storm. Ava had her first dance recital and she loved going to Miss Amber's each week to dance. By the end she didn't even want me to walk her up to the door! Kaelub gave me the best Mother's Day gift by taking Eli & Ava camping Friday. I actually got a nap while Ty napped Friday afternoon, worked on some projects I've been wanting to finish, and spent Saturday at our stake Relief Society women's conference. Such amazing women spoke and we had lunch and then worked on a service project. I have some awesome women in my life who have been such good examples and made me who I am today. My own sweet mother, who I can only hope to be like one day. A grandmother who is always serving others. An aunt who is like a second mother and even through adversity still stays positive and thinks of others before herself. And my mother-in-law who raised such a great son I am lucky enough to spend my life with. I'm keeping busy getting ready for stake girls camp kick-off the first of June. Now I am going to have to come up with fun things to keep the kids busy this summer when it heats up outside.

Yes, We are Still Alive
Wow life has been crazy! So many things going on between the kids and Kaelub and I. Ava turned 3 in January, which is still crazy to me. She is sweet, independent, loves changing her clothes too many times during the day, wants to do everything Eli does, will try pretty much any food you give her, treats her bunny as if it were her own baby (diapers on it, feeding it, putting it down for a nap, giving it a bath, etc), loves going to the park, loves riding her bike that she got for her birthday, and can often be heard singing herself to sleep. She acts very serious and shy when she doesn't know people. And she is tall and skinny like her brother. I'm so glad I have a little girl who asks me to paint her toe nails and do her hair, but still doesn't mind playing out in the dirt with Eli. Valentine's Day was pretty simple this year. But Kelsey and I did manage to get a cute photo shoot in. I made a bow and arrow for Eli to hold and also a tie for him to wear. I have since made a few more including matching Easter ones for he and Ty. Eli is learning about the United Sates in preschool and their class is hoping to get as many postcards/letter/packages from different states as possible. So if any of you want to send them something, let me know and I'll get you the address! :) We recently had a family move in across the street and they have kids the same age as Eli & Ava. Eli always knows if they are out playing in their driveway and wants me to let him go out to play too. Ty is already 1/2 a year old and is such a good baby. He has been sleeping 9 hours at night since he was just 3 or 4 months old. And he is always happy! Really. If he starts to cry you know he is either hungry, tired, or stuck somewhere from rolling across the room. He is my biggest baby at 19 lbs and 29 inches for his 6 month stats. I love the rolls on his legs. His hair is starting to get longer and it's really curly after bath time. So far he has loved all the baby food we have given him. He spits up quite a bit, but it's more of a laundry issue as the doctor has told me. I'm sure in the next few weeks he will be crawling and sitting up on his own better. For now he gets into enough trouble rolling around the floor. Kaelub celebrated his birthday on March 22. I was able to meet him for lunch after my CPR training for work. We wend to one of his favorites, Joes BBQ. The kids had fun drawing him pictures and helping me make his double layer chocolate birthday cake. (His favorite) They couldn't wait to sing to him and have him blow out the candle. He is such a fun dad and they love playing with him. I'm having too many new adventures lately with church and work. Sometimes I really don't like change. But I'm trying to stay positive and most days I feel good if we are all dressed, hair done, and able to leave the house at some point. My wise mother told me, "There's a time and season for everything." And I'm trying to remember that.

December 2012
What a busy month! All of these pictures are from my phone so they aren't the best, but my camera card doesn't fit in the laptop so they will have to do. We had Eli's preschool Christmas program, my ugly sweater work party, and park play days before heading up to Idaho. I flew up with Ty and Ava a few days ahead of Kaelub and Eli. Lucky for us we had a 4 hour delay at the airport due to mechanical problems. :( But they both were so good the whole time and even on the plane. Ava crashed in my mom's car on the drive home from the aiport. We were glad to get snow while there. Eli said his favorite thing was shoveling grandma's driveway and sidewalks every morning after he ate breakfast. The kids went sledding with Kaelub and made snow angels with Uncle Aaron. They loved all the attention from Auntie Jill & GG. Grandma Lynda let them decorate sugar cookies and they were spoiled with a lot of gifts. I got sick with a 24 hour flu on Christmas morning so I spent the day in bed. I had a fun, busy birthday on Christmas Eve and Kaelub and I celebrated 10 years by going out to dinner. We went bowling, watched a few movies, made some yummy food and homemade ice cream, and had to push back our day to come home because Kaelub caught the same flu. We also blessed Ty while we were there on Dec 23rd. We were so glad for all the family who came. Aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, & friends. Kaelub gave him a wonderful blessing and I'm so greatful he is worthy to do that. We loved the time we had to spend with family and it always goes too fast!
