Best Friends

So we just got back from a quick trip to Vegas to spend some time with Kaelub's family, and I had to put up this picture because it was just too cute. Eli has now figured out how to roll over both ways, so I'm sure he will be getting around and into trouble sooner than I think. He also set a record of 11 hours sleeping straight the other night! He loves his sleep, that's for sure. I just have to brag about Kaelub (even though I'm sure he will hate it). He's such a great dad & I love watching them together.

We Love Grandma

Eli was so spoiled when grandma came to visit! We all loved having her here & wish the time didn't go by so quickly.

Trip to the Zoo

My mom came to visit this weekend and we decided to take Eli to the Phoenix Zoo. It was fun to enjoy the nice weather & see all of the animals. I think Eli's favorite were the monkeys & a Mhyna bird because they made the most noise. As you can see, it was a long day for Eli & he was fast asleep by the time we got to the car to go home.

Shots

Eli went in for his 4 month shots last week and he is one long, skinny baby! I wonder where he gets that from. :) He is almost 25 inches & 14 1/2 lbs. I laughed when the nurse said he was in the 80 % for his height and 30 % for his weight. Eli can blame the fact that all his pants look like capris & are baggy around the waist on his dad. Kaelub claims to have worn elastic waisted pants up until middle school! (Hopefully that's a little bit of an exaggeration.) A few days after Eli went in for his shots, he developed an ear infection. Poor guy! But luckily the antibiotics have worked great and he seems to be back to his normal happy self. (Lots of smiles, slobber, sleeping 10 hours at night, & loving his Bumbo chair.) I thought I would include a couple other recent pictures of him.
